This Scandinavian-inspired modern farmhouse balances clean lines and functionality with livability and warmth. By working closely with the owners and design team, we created bright, welcoming interiors featuring reclaimed fir timbers for shelving and stairs, along with concrete floors warmed by a high-efficiency heating system. Indeed, incorporating high-performance building practices was integral to this project, including a robust building envelope system fitted with European-style windows and locally sourced cedar siding. The non-toxic, nature-inspired bright exterior wood finish also gives the home a slightly silver look, completely naturally. Built to prioritize comfort, beauty, and longevity, this timeless home is equipped to last for generations to come.
