This reimagined Bonniebrook home unites energy efficiency with mid-century design and symbiotically integrates with its West Coast surroundings. Delivered on time and on budget, the project’s success was in part due to collaboration: the owners remained open to suggestions every step of the way.

When Summerhill president Brad Jennens set out to build his family home, the performance goal was aimed at the highest standard. The result? An innovative Net Zero Ready masterpiece, designed with LEED and Passive House principles, embodying a modern aesthetic that leans heavily on locally sourced and recycled materials.

This unconventional Roberts Creek residence by architect Scott Keck gives the homeowners a space of their own among the trees, and a water view. Despite the design and distance challenges—the clients lived two ferry rides away—everyone stayed closely connected to the process through our cloud-based software and delivered a unique, inspired build.
