Ilan Bitterman

Born in the heart of Mexico City, Ilan is an architectural designer and educator whose career spans over two decades and two continents. After graduating with honours from Anahuac University and refining his craft under the visionary mentor Peter Eisenman in New York City, Ilan earned a Master’s in Conservation from the University of Sheffield and further specialized in sustainable construction in Canada. Ilan has managed diverse design-build projects, with notable commissions such as Artesia Polanco, Museo Amparo, and Costaventura. Deeply passionate about sustainability and the future of our built environment, Ilan now applies his extensive expertise in sustainable construction and design-build project management to deliver innovative and environmentally conscious solutions for Summerhill clients.
