Brad Jennens

Born and raised in BC, Brad arrived on the West Coast in 1979 by way of Kelowna. Having spent the bulk of his formative years in the community he works in today, Brad has an innate understanding of how to complement the region’s natural beauty through thoughtful craftsmanship. In 1991, Brad built his first spec home and founded what is now Summerhill Fine Homes shortly before becoming a ticketed Red Seal Carpenter. Since then, the company has joined the Canadian Green Building Council, grown its team to include certified Passive House tradespeople, and become a leader in its craft on the Sunshine Coast and beyond.

Always up for a challenge, Brad’s tenacity might well stem from his many adventures, including time spent in the boxing ring or the challenges he embraced while pursuing a lifelong dream: sailing the Pacific with his family for two years in the mid-2000s. As a leader, Brad consistently guides his team to achieve their best, as happy to listen as he is to take the helm.
