Originally from Quebec, Dean moved to the Sunshine Coast by way of Tsawwassen in 2000. He has spent his working life leading and organizing groups in a variety of industries ever since earning a Bachelor of Political Science from McGill University in 1992. For one, he played an important role in leading crews at Fisheries and Oceans Canada in the late 1990s and was a key part in the success of remote location fish counts. Around the same time, he started building exceptional homes on the Sunshine Coast.

Dean has worked for Summerhill for 20 years, taking the lead on a wide range of complex custom home projects that have earned him respect and credibility from not only the Summerhill team, but the region’s building industry as a whole. With an exceptional ability to inspire others through his actions, Dean is consistently praised by stakeholders as a key contributor to every project he undertakes. Off the clock, he’s a proud family man who can often be found surfing, biking, and skiing with his wife and four children.
